Where it began: the founding team

Four friends, one idea

Imagine is an attempt by four like-minded friends who came forward to make a difference in the world we live in.

Every effort counts, and that is what drives us to keep looking for opportunities where we can be the change and make an impact. To make it a formal entity, The Imagine Trust was registered as a trust in 2013.

The Trust takes its name from the song ‘Imagine’ by John Lennon.

Today our main programme is the Imagine Clothes Bank in Bengaluru. We collect unused clothes, sort them carefully and display them like a store, so that people in need can choose what they wear for just ₹1 per item. Over 100 visitors come to our centre every week.

Our Mission

To make good-quality clothing accessible to everyone who needs it — with dignity.

Our Vision

A future where no one is deprived of dignity or opportunity due to lack of resources.

Our Values

Dignity First, Transparency, Community Driven and Real Impact.

Every act of kindness matters.

Beyond clothing

Alongside the Clothes Bank, the Trust has worked across four areas over the years.

Education

Supporting the education needs of children and better schooling infrastructure

Environment
